Are Perfume Tester Bottle’s Life Shorter Than The Retail Bottle?

I'm talking about tester bottles that don't have caps.
I read that in order to keep perfume bottle so that its original smell lasts longer, you need to put on the cap tightly and other stuff.
I mean new tester compared to new retail bottle, not used one. I plan to buy one on ebay.

Tester and the real deal is the same thing. These are giving to retail shop, so the customers can use it, so there's no difference cause they are trying to advertise their products. The only difference is, it comes with lid or no lid, tester label with it. A normal grey or white or black box. Just find a cap to fit and seal the perfume.Keep it away sunlight and room temperature to preserve it. Buying Perfume or Parfum instead of toilette will last longer.

There is no such think as the life of perfume. Toy can keep it forever and as long as you keep the bottle closed tight there will be no problems (it will not evaporate). Both bottles, retail and tester, have the pretty much same quality so you will have no problems.
