How To Pick Ladies Perfume

Perfume is available in an array of prices, sizes and scents. It isn’t surprising that when a gentleman wants to pick some ladies perfume he is quickly overwhelmed by the experience. With the price of perfumes being what it is, no one wants to buy the wrong product. Here are some tips on how to avoid making mistakes.

Your best bet when buying a woman perfume is to ask her what she wears. If that is not an option, for example if you want to purchase the perfume as a surprise, then you need to resort to a bit more subtlety. There is always a best friend you can ask, if you are able to contact her; but, if that doesn’t work, you may be on your own.

Perfumes are divided into several categories and when you arrive at a store they will ask you to describe the scent you are seeking. Floral perfumes smell like flowers. Citrus perfumes will remind you of citrus fruit. Oceanic or ozone perfumes have a very clean smell, and green perfumes smell similar to fresh cut grass or plants. An entirely new category of perfumes smell like desserts and are called gourmand. If you can identify at least some of the make up of the perfume you are seeking, you will improve your odds at making a match.

Even if you can’t find the exact perfume you are searching for, if you find something that you like, your lady will be more than willing to try it out. If it doesn’t work for her, you may not smell it again, but she is much more likely to let you know what she does wear at that point. Ladies perfumes express an extremely personal choice. Since body chemistry affects the final smell it can take a while to find the perfect one.

Ladies I need help picking out a perfume!?
So I’ve been talking to this girl and I am going to buy her some perfume. She says that she likes anything that smells sweet, candylike, or flowery like tulips but not like roses. She also doesn’t like anything musty or earthscents. Help me find a good one!

Fantasy by Britney Spears!! it sortof smells like sweet rasberries, or sweet flowers. SO GOOD!

Halle Berry by Halle Berry is good too, its got this warm, sweet scent.

Sexy Darling by Kylie Minogue is great, it smells like sweet but bitter apples

but out of the three, i’d go with Fantasy by Britney Spears, it smells SO GOOD!!!!

Nina by Nina Ricci – smells like lemon, candied apples, and caramel. Sweet and foody.
Miss Dior Cherie – so hard to describe, but also smells fun and fruity and yummy. It’s my favorite.
Versace Bright Crystal – Smells kind of icy and fresh – that "just out of the shower" smell. It’s floral, and very light.

But, a salesperson would be able to help better than us.
I suggest you go to Macys/Nordstrom/Sephora, and ask them for help. :)
